Summer trends according to fashion bloggers
Fashion bloggers are the new magazine editors! Who else would you trust to tell you what’s in fashion this season?
Here’s an overview of what three of Britain’s top fashion blogs have identified as summer’s must-have trends, and how you can work those looks with your glasses.
1.
Tortoiseshell
Everyone knows the celebs have been wearing white Wayfarer style sunnies, but the folks at My Fashion Life, which is run by the lovely Michele Obi, are also embracing tortoiseshell sunglasses. Apparently they are reminiscent of ‘dusty book shelves, 60s film stars and hippies in Morocco’.

Romance
Over the top femininity and ruffles encapsulate this season’s Romance trend. You may think of the trend as just ‘pink frills’ but it’s grown up and sophisticated with hints of sparkles.

Green
Fashion stylist, and my friend, Rebekah Roy spots and snaps fashionistas on her travels. She recently met DJ SOL who was wearing the most vibrant green sunglasses.
