Reading glasses

At Glasses Direct we can make you a custom made pair of reading glasses, specifically for your prescription. Of course, it is possible to buy reading glasses off-the-shelf (not available at Glasses Direct). Typically you will find these to be a one-size fits all solution where the lenses share the same strength. Many people do not have the same prescription in both eyes and consequently would find it more appropriate to have a pair of reading glasses made specifically for them.

Sunglasses options

These sunglasses are available with standard non-prescription lenses as shown in the picture, or with your choice of prescription lenses.


The choice and cost of lenses will depend upon the frame style, as some frames require specialist glazing due, for example, to them being curved, which cost more than standard glazing.


For more standard frames you will have the same choice of lens thicknesses and tint colour options as our entire range of standard prescription glasses.
