How to order bifocal glasses
Bifocal lenses can be ordered at an extra charge of only £35, and are for customers who require 2 strengths of lenses.
We have teamed up with opticians up and down the country so that we can offer bifocal glasses over the internet, and save our customers hundreds of pounds at a time. Because we cannot yet provide this service in Northern Ireland, bifocals are not available in Northern Ireland.
As standard we use D28 bifocal lenses. These are 28mm wide "D" shaped segments that are positioned vertically 3mm below the centre of the lens and horizontally are centred on your pupillary distance.
If you would like them to be positioned further up or down (higher or lower) then do state on your order.
We can also make up D35 bifocal lenses which at 35mm are slightly wider, and executive bifocals that stretch across the whole width of the lens. We will contact you after you place your order to discuss which option is best for you.

Free after care home visit with all bifocals!
We will contact you to make an appointment with a trained optical assistant or dispensing optician after you have received your glasses. He or she will fit your glasses and if necessary adjust the frames, so that you are fully satisfied with the glasses. Because we cannot yet provide this service in Northern Ireland bifocals are not available in Northern Ireland.
