What is bio-nylon?
Nylon, also known as polyamide, typically derives
from fossil-based sources. However, bio-nylon has
a percentage of bio-based carbon content coming
from renewable plant-based sources, specifically
from castor plant seeds.
The castor seeds are turned into oil and are used
as a raw material to make this innovative eyewear
range which is a cleaner alternative to standard
oil-based plastic materials.
