Having to return. Used new prescription from optician but can't see!

I have always bought my glasses in the high street shop after an eye test - and paid top price ! This time my wife suggested I try Glasses Direct so I went online and found their website. I chose my frames (Jennings frameless) selected varifocals and transitions. I included my prescription data and sent everything to GD. They replied wanting a scan of the prescription and my pupillary distance - PD. I’d never heard of PD and was surprised that it wasn’t included on the prescription. Following GD’s instruction I measured it using the GlassesOn app - surprisingly easy ! GD took about a week to prepare the glasses keeping me well informed until they arrived. The new glasses fit well - felt a bit strange for the first five to ten minutes then OK ! Varifocals and transitions working well. These GD glasses were one third of the high street shop price !
