I had these as polaroids for driving as the bright sun and reflections on wet road surfaces hurt my eyes. They look absolutely fab with the dark polaroid lens. Nice big lens too so protect practically all my eyes. I have these in green too for readers. Cant recommend Glasses Direct enough, brilliant company, great customer service and quality glasses at affordable prices.

These frames are made by London Metro and are called Marble Arch. They're in transparent green but not too transparent. They have a nice colour to them. Sprung arms again with is great. I'd say they are a chunky frame compared to the others I bought, and probably suitable for both men and women. I personally wouldn't like them with clear lens for distance glasses due to being thick frames but they are great for readers. They'll put up with the kind of treatment they'll get being in my bag or pocket or laying around in their case at home. If you need to take your readers with you, you want something substantial I think. I don't use readers that often, or didn't, but I struggle now to read the tiny print on packets and bottles etc. I did get a magnifying glass a while back and kept mislaying it, so thought it was about time I got a dedicated pair of readers. These frames being robust do the job perfectly. I chose basic clear lens, with a gold lens package because I didn't need all the fancy coatings and they come with anti-glare etc anyway. They're a really nice frame.
