The stylish frames within our Arden Collection are all made from natural and recyclable materials.

Also known as natural acetate, bio-based acetate is made with 50% less fossil carbon than the typical acetate used for other frames. It is also extremely sturdy and lightweight. Technically speaking, bio acetate is a biodegradable material. However, it actually only biodegrades under industrial composting conditions within 120 days.

Not only is stainless steel extremely durable, but it is also actually one of the most recycled materials in the world. It is 100% recyclable and does not lack quality either.

MEM (Medical Eco-friendly Material) is completely recyclable and requires less energy during the production process. This material is used to create comfortable nose pads for your frames.

Low-Density Polyurethane (PE or LDPE) can be easily recycled. It is a flexible plastic wrap used as a bag for your frames.

One Tree Planted is a non-profit charity supporting reforestation. They plant trees with the aim to restore nature and biodiversity habitats in parts of the world where it is desperately needed. Since they were founded in 2014, they have planted over 40 million trees across more than 47 countries. They aim to help people give back in a simple and effective way by contributing to the conservation and restoration of the environment.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC™) is an international organisation that supports responsible forestry. Their innovative certification system gives companies and customers the opportunity to use wood, paper and other forest items made with materials that advocate responsible forest management. Since it was established in 1994, it has grown to be one of the most trusted forest certification systems in the world. Presently, 200 million hectares of forest are certified to FSC™ standards.
